SISTERHOOD NEWS
Once again, Temple Beth El Sisterhood is happy to report the completion
of another successful year. We are pleased that we have been
able to meet our financial goals to our Temple for 2009-2010.
Many thanks to all our supporters and workers who have contributed so
much with our many events and fund-raisers throughout the year.
The Sisterhood Board is already in the midst of preparing and planning
for the year ahead. Please return the Sisterhood Member
Profile together with your dues for the new year, as soon as possible,
if you have not already done so. A large part of what we are
able to accomplish comes to us through membership.
Also, don't forget about our gift shop summer event---RED TAG SALE,
beginning June 1st. All red-tagged items will be 50%
off. This is a perfect time to fill all your holiday and
gift-giving needs.
Sisterhood is once again sponsoring The New Year's Greetings Booklet,
and a letter will be sent out within the next few weeks, to
everyone. Please sign and return by August 2nd, to ensure
that we have time to include your greetings in the booklet.
Have a healthy, happy summer.
Shalom,
Nancy Zaretzky, President

Prize Needed
With adding 2 extra tournaments this season our prize closet is almost
empty. We would greatly appreciate donation of gifts such as
Note Cards, Picture Frames, Photo Albums, Guest Soaps, Wine…Anyhting
that you might bring as a hostess gift. Please bring your
labeled donations in to the temple office so that we can appropriately
thank you in future newsletters. We are thanking you in advance for
your continued support of this project which is Temple Beth El’s
largest on-going fund raiser.

THE
BOUTIQUE JUDAICA NEWS
The Sisterhood Board has worked diligently over the summer, to stock
our shelves with some exciting new items for the coming Holidays, as
well as interesting pieces created by local artists. We are
also now fully stocked with a complete array
of beautiful greeting cards for all occasions, and we have reduced
prices on many items. So come in and browse and shop for all
your gift and Holiday needs.
The Boutique Judaica is once again returning to our regular hours
September 1st, in preparation for the High Holidays. Our
support staff will be covering the shop Monday through Thursdays from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Fridays 10 a.m. to 12 noon as well as before and
after services, for your convenience. We are most grateful to
the ladies who volunteer their time to provide this service to our
community, so please take advantage and shop with us whenever you can.
Although our Sisterhood Board has made a concerted effort to recruit a
shop manager, the position remains open. If you are
interested in helping our Boutique Judaica to grow and better provide
for the needs of our community, this position is for you. Our
volunteer staff will be available to help at all times.
Please contact a member of our Sisterhood Board or call 454-5340 for
further information.
Happy New Year from your Temple Beth El Sisterhood
